Choose the correct Orlando inmate-search path
Search the Current Inmate Database first. If no result appears, remember that Orange County says a new record appears within about 30 minutes after the information is entered into its inmate-management system—not necessarily 30 minutes after the street arrest.
Use the county Daily Booking List. It covers inmates booked during the 24-hour period beginning at midnight of the preceding day. For the newest status, return to the live name search.

The public form requires a last name; first name is optional. That simple design is useful because starting broad reduces missed matches.

How to post bond at Orange County Jail and avoid release-day surprises
The Booking and Release Center can accept bond around the clock, but the payment method and exact amount matter. Orange County also warns that active bonding scams exist.

Purge payments
A court-ordered purge can be handled at the Orange County Courthouse Civil Division, 425 N. Orange Avenue, or at the Booking and Release Center. When paid at the courthouse, bring the payment receipt and court order to the BRC so Corrections can process the person’s release.
Expedited booking for an Orange County warrant
People with qualifying Orange County warrants or capiases may report to the BRC public lobby with a bondsman or money order for expedited booking. Orange County lists this service Monday–Friday, excluding holidays, from 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., with a $20 money-order-only fee. Charges that legally require First Appearance are excluded.

Approved items that may be dropped off
Orange County lists court clothing, prescription eyeglasses, dentures, contacts and sealed saline solution as approved property categories. Approved property is dropped at the Video Visitation Center between 9:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., seven days a week. Staff search incoming property and the person dropping it off must sign the Florida contraband-warning form.

To receive calls from an inmate, Orange County says the recipient must first set up an inmate telephone account. The county warns that account setup can take up to 24 hours.

What happens at booking
- A medical screening is completed when the person is booked.
- The inmate later receives a physical assessment and another opportunity to disclose medical and mental-health needs.
- Medical and mental-health staff remain available throughout incarceration if a condition changes.
- People who cannot function safely in general population because of medical or mental-health needs may be placed in specially designated units with increased oversight.
Medication and medical equipment
Orange County generally does not accept outside prescriptions because it has an on-site pharmacy and supplies most medications. A specialized medication not routinely provided may be handled differently; call Case Management first.
Most equipment is supplied by Corrections Health Services. If specialized equipment from home is necessary, call 407-254-7561 first; staff may direct you to deliver it at the Video Visitation Center.
Medical records after release
A former inmate requesting medical records must complete the Orange County medical Release of Information form. The completed form may be faxed to 407-836-3241 or mailed to the address shown on the form. Orange County says processing takes a minimum of 10 business days. Records are picked up in the Booking and Release Center public lobby with picture identification.

VINE can provide custody and case information without repeatedly checking the inmate page. The easiest lookup uses the inmate booking number.
Current custody and location, pending charges, scheduled release date when known, and bond amount.
Orange County states notifications occur within 15 minutes of a record change.
Notification calls continue every two hours for 48 hours; release letters are mailed the next business day.

The 30-minute rule starts when the record enters Orange County’s inmate-management system. A street arrest can precede that entry.
The Daily Booking List is a 24-hour report, while the current inmate database is more current for custody status.
