The county site also contains historical eligibility and scheduling rules for approved contact visits. Those rules should be treated as preparatory information only until the suspension notice is removed.
Historical eligibility rules to prepare for a future reopening
- Contact visits were limited to approved incarcerated persons.
- The incarcerated person generally had to remain in custody for at least 90 days.
- Approved persons were limited to one contact visit every 30 days.
- Requests had to reach Classification at least 14 days before the requested date.
- A maximum of two adult visitors was allowed.
- The request required each visitor’s name, date of birth and Social Security number.
- Disciplinary findings could delay, suspend or permanently remove contact-visit eligibility.
